Position : Programmer Analyst - Java
Qualification : UG - B.Tech/B.E.-Computers PG- M.Sc-Comp; MCA–Comp
Experience : 3.5 - 5 Years of Java experienceMandatory Skill Set :
· Excellent hands-experience on Java, JSP, J2EE, Struts or Spring, SQL, Oracle , XML, WAS
· Experience in functional requirement analysis
· Should have strong design skills, architectural skills.
· Good aptitude and solution development capability
· Excellent problem determination and resolution skills
· Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff.
· Independent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities, estimations and completion deadlines.
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, motivational & analytical skills
· Leads others toward technical accomplishment, collaborative project team efforts and achievement of project goals.
· Should have executed the complete SDLC on at least one project
· Should have at least 1 yr of experience in a similar role;
· Experience in mentoring the team members.

Preferable Skill set :

· Work experience in PL/SQL knowledge on Linux
· Knowledge on Retail domain.

Job Description :
As a Programmer Analyst, you
· Design, develop, test, deploy and support various applications, including web-based and standalone desktop and server applications
· will convert the high level design to low level design
· will create technical designs based on the functional requirements
· will assure the quality of the deliverables by doing reviews
· will help other teams when technical support is needed
· will help in building the technical knowledge of the team members
· will mentor the team member in doing the tasks performed by you
· will provide the performance feedback of the team members to Manager
· May provide leadership to others in group
· Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews

As a functional analyst/domain expert, you
· will have (or will acquire) a very good knowledge of the
existing environment:
a) on functional level, high level
b) on technical level, low level
· will create functional designs/requirements doc, based on the user requirements by working closely with process analyst(s)
· will explain in detail the requirements to team members
· will perform(or be involved in) system testing
