Job Description: Manager cum Java Architect

Work Experience:
Ø 10+ years of work experience in Java / J2EE Software Product Development and 3+ years in Java / J2EE Architect / Manager role.
Ø Should have strong experience in architecting, designing, developing and testing of large scale Java / J2EE applications.
Ø Hands on experience on design patterns, UML, Database Design.
Ø Excellent people management skills.
Ø Very strong knowledge of software engineering processes/practices like CMMi /Six Sigma and experience in development methods and modeling techniques.
Ø Experience in various estimation models.
Ø Hands-on expertise with supporting enterprise technologies & databases.
Ø Experience managing projects in a multi-location onsite/offshore model.
Ø Domain expertise in brokerage services and International markets is desired.
Ø It would be an added advantage if the candidate has SUN certified Java / J2EE certifications.

Technical skills/Tools: Java /J2EE, Toplink, Hibernate, Oracle DB(SQL & PL/SQL), SQL Server, Unix Shell Scripts, Web sphere app server, Jakarta Struts, MVC, Apache Ant, Apache log4j, VSS, Junit, XSLT, Xerces, XML, Java Script, XHTML and CSS.
